If there is one vital thing I have learned in my life, it is that success begins with ME. If I did not dream big and had no perseverance, I would not be where I am now. Life is not always regular as clockwork and with just a snap, a devastating bolt can strike out from the blue and turn things from bright and rosy to gloomy shades of gray. Here is my story:

beachJust like any other regular guy, I had a pretty much predictable life. I grew up in the Boston area, graduated college, got married, bought a home and started a family. I enjoyed sports, traveling, dining, and being involved with my church and community. Career-wise, I was living the “American Dream.” I was a top earner in the mortgage banking industry.

For 22 years, I worked very hard, staying extremely focused, organized, and disciplined. I was reaping the fruits of my success was able to help hundreds of clients. Things were really looking good for me until the year 2007 when the housing crisis and financial meltdown started. The mortgage business was deeply affected and became increasingly difficult to stay in. Simply put, “life happened.” My “American Dream” became somewhat of an “American Nightmare”!!! I was really feeling the pinch as it was very difficult not knowing where my next paycheck will come from. I knew that I needed to change.

As with most people, change was difficult for me. I then had to be completely reliant on myself, my own dreams, persistence, and aspirations.

I stumbled upon an opportunity about a year ago that really changed my life. I read more in six months than I did my entire life! I self-taught myself and followed exactly what I was supposed to do. Simply put, I followed the system and did the work. It was the BEST thing I had going for me and I wrapped my arms around it.
